Configure eFile-CDM to fit your process. It replaces the spreadsheets, shared drives and forwarded emails a case otherwise ends up scattered across.
Documents with the case
Drop in files or whole emails at intake or later. Emails are split into their attachments, and documents keep their versions.
Email filed to the case
Read your work mailbox and shared mailboxes in eFile-CDM. File an email to one or more cases, and reply from the case.
Find anything
Search across cases, people and the text of documents and emails, including scanned documents.
Every change on the record
Each case keeps a timeline of who changed which fields and when. No one can edit or delete it, administrators included.
Retention built in
Each case carries the retention schedule that applies to it, so you know what has to be kept and for how long.
Your email, filed where it belongs
Staff link their own mailbox by signing in with your organization's email provider. Their email stays where it is, and eFile-CDM shows it live. An email is copied into eFile-CDM only when someone files it to a case.
Works with Microsoft 365 today. Google Workspace and other providers are on the way.
- Your administrator approves it once for your organization.
- Each mailbox belongs to its owner. No one else can open it through eFile-CDM, not even an administrator.
- Shared mailboxes work too: the ones a person can already open in their email program.
- Unlink at any time. eFile-CDM deletes its access to the mailbox right away.
- Email is shown safely. Scripts and remote images are blocked, so tracking pixels never load.

- It becomes part of the recordThe email and its attachments are stored with the case, once, however many cases it is filed to.

Security for public records
Case files hold sensitive information. eFile-CDM keeps each agency's data apart, controls who can see what, and records what happens to it.
Your data, kept apart
Every agency's data is isolated in the database itself. A dedicated database is available for agencies that need one.
Access by role
Roles decide who can see and change which cases and documents. Recusals keep staff out of cases they must not see.
Protected sign-in
Long passwords are checked against known breaches and never stored in readable form. Repeated failures lock the account.
Encrypted connections
Every connection uses HTTPS, and documents are encrypted at rest. Access tokens for linked mailboxes are sealed with their own key.

eFile-CDM runs on Amazon Web Services in the United States.
